Because all our scholars deserve equitable access to Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID).

  • We train and support all stakeholders in the AVID philosophy
  • We incorporate AVID best practices in our daily instruction to insure equitable conditions for learning
  • We promote a college culture
  • We foster a Growth Mindset

  • WICOR incorporated in all lessons
  • WICOR trackers posted and utilized daily
  • Costas level of questioning incorporated in all lessons
  • All classrooms named after a college or university, college corners in each classroom and a partnership with colleges and universities is fostered
