Communities in Schools

Communities in Schools

Ross Elementary offers several community resources at the building site. Our Communities in Schools program works to connect our scholars and families to resources in the community.

CLOTHING BANK
The Ross Elementary clothing bank is a resource for the whole Ross community. It serves infants through adults. Our clothing bank is open weekly as well as during any family engagement event.

ADULT TO ADULT MENTORING PROGRAM
We are working to partner caregivers of the scholars at Ross with mentors who are available to listen, validate, and coach their mentee about navigating the systems involved in parenting school-age children. Matches will be made on the consideration of age, interests, cultural and other identities etc. Care will be given to ensure that both mentors and mentee feel comfortable with their match and have opportunities to get to know one another

LUNCH BUDDIES

GIRLS' & BOYS' GROUPS

LITTLE FREE LIBRARY

HARVESTERS BACK SNACKS PROGRAM

OTHER RESOURCES
Ross also offers food, hygiene supplies, and school supplies to our Ross families.
